What is Cool Cats?

Cool Cats is a community of creators, innovators, artists and human lovers.  We believe that art has a fundamental value that is much needed in this heavily industrialized world.  We embrace digital technologies and use them to advance our most natural passions.

Will my training be personal?

While there might not be a physical or in-person interaction with your instructor, you will still get a one-on-one training experience with your instructor. Your music instructor (professor) will be creating music lessons specifically for you.

What instruments do you teach?

You can learn from a wide range of musical instruments. Our professors have mastered over 30 different instruments from the simple yet beautiful piano, guitar, vocals, and flute to the rarer Indian sitar. Classes depend on your willingness to start and have access to learn the instruments of your choice.

What music styles do you teach?

We teach both the classical and contemporary styles of music. Our professors are trained professionals in any of those styles of music.

Can I switch from one music class to another?

Yes, our students can switch classes and change professors or even the instruments they wish to learn anytime. Please read the cancelation policy.

I have signed up for a lesson, what happens next?

Once you have signed up, start taking your classes on time and if you wish to have your schedule changed, please see the cancelation policy.

Can I learn more than one instrument at a time?

Yes, our students can switch classes and can also learn more than one musical instrument at a time.

Can I change professors?

Yes, our students can switch classes and change professors or even the instruments they wish to learn anytime.

What equipment do I need to get started?

To get started, all you need is the musical instrument you want to learn, a computer with a webcam and audio device, and internet connection. Some accessories and gears would make your experience better but, at the very basic level, those are the ones you need to get started.

I don't have any musical background. Can I still enroll?

Yes. You can enroll even without any background in music. All our instructors are qualified professionals and they will take you from any level you are, regardless of your background in music up to where you want to be. The lessons are pretty straight forward and practical in nature.

I am an adult, can I enroll?

Yes. As long as the student is above 8 years of age, you can enroll for any training of your choice.

I would like my child to take the lessons. Can I sign up for him/her?

Yes, as long as you are the legar guardian of the kid and the kid can focus to follow the instructions of an online professor. You can enroll your child(ren) and even help them learn as long, as they are above 8 years.

Do I need a personal piano to take the piano lessons?

You do not need a personal piano to start the training. All you need is access to one. It doesn’t have to be yours. It could be your neighbor’s piano, your church’s piano, or your school’s piano. However, it is important you have a piano to practice with by your side in the course of the training.

Can I interview a professor before I begin lessons?

You will have access to a one-time free trial class once you have indicated an interest to enroll for any of our classes.

Are the teachers qualified?

All our instructors are qualified professionals who have mastered over 30 different instruments. They are all top certified musicians. Meet our professors

What ages do you teach and at what skill level?

Our training cuts across all skill levels and you can enroll once you are 8 years of age and above.

How long does a training session last?

Classes are measured in 60mins. However, a training session could be over a span of 2 hours.

Can I take the training at my own convenient time?

You can take your lessons at your own convenient time and at your own pace. Just choose a schedule that suits you and our professors will be ready to attend to you at your own time.

Will I get certified after the training?

Our sole aim is to help individual music enthusiasts explore their talents and build on them. We do not offer any form of certification or degree.

Will I need to buy additional learning materials?

You will not need to purchase any additional training material. All you need will be provided as soon as you enroll for training.

If I have a change in schedule, can I change my training time?

You can change your training schedule at any time you wish. Please see the cancelation policy.

Will there be an assessment at the end of the training?

There will not be any form of assessment at the end of the training. However, we do have concerts periodically. This might serve as a self-assessment platform for individual trainees.

Will there be a need for in-person classes in the future?

You can take classes with us for as long as you want. Our training cuts across all levels of expertise.

Will I get a discount if I enroll more than one child?
There is no discount on any of our lessons on an account of multiple enrollments.

Can I take the lessons at my own convenient time?

You can take your lessons at your own convenient time. Just choose a schedule that suits you and our professors will be ready to attend to you at your own time.

I want to enroll, how do I make payments?

Once you schedule a class, you will be redirected to a payment gateway where you will be able to make payment with your credit card.

Can I schedule training at the same time for more than one person?

You can have training scheduled for multiple persons at the same time. All you need to do is pay for each person individually.

Is there an app for Cool Cats?

We do not have an app from the app store yet, but our website is mobile-friendly and optimized for smartphones. Classes will be provided in video conferencing platforms.

Will my membership automatically renew?

Your membership will be automatically renewed. If you wish to unsubscribe or cancel your membership, please see the cancelation policy.
